I finished All The Pretty Horses and also watched the movie. The movie was good, but of course the book was much better. They cut some significant dialogue about the Mexican culture of the time which helps fully explain why he lost the girl and the job. The book was so enjoyable and I can’t wait to read the next two in the series. I never expected to like westerns so much!
