Watched the Tesla "We Robot" presentation while preparing dinner. Cool new toys (eventually maybe).

It looks like they were trying to do it in the style of the Steve Jobs-era Apple announcements. They didn't have their applause cues / audience control down, and Musk isn't anywhere near the pitchman that Jobs was. He does have a certain autistic charm, whenever somebody does this they'll be compared to Steve Jobs's hypnotoad-level mesmerization skills.
