Is anyone else riled up by the use of BCE/CE as opposed to BC/AD?

I am not exactly with it and don't know when this started but i don't like it! Whats yalls take? Is the war over?

Ive never been particularly motivated in trying to enact change through the ballot but i was trying to figure out how some sort of ruler could be in place to keep it old school. Turns out im way late to the game and all textbooks now follow this common era format.
