The title's the thesis: ^H – Everything Gets Deleted Eventually. Backspace key as blog name — wry, nerdy, a little fatalistic. The voice matches: dry, self-deprecating ("slovenly nerd," "my shitty blog," "this is where I bloviate" ), and digressive in a way that feels like thinking out loud. One entry will touch Iran, the Cowboys, a 400-page book, and a doctor's appointment without blinking.
Politically homeless is the throughline. Nixon-Republican parents, campaigned for Libertarian Harry Browne, now trusts nobody — "GOVERNMENT DOESN'T WORK" is about as close to a slogan as it gets. On tech he's the same way: IT nerd, allergic to hype (see: the AI essay), but perfectly happy to make the tools do his tedious chores.
