Has anyone here had trouble using certain apps or services with a VPN? Venmo doesn't work at all. Paypal made me take 100 "Not a robot" tests and then held my payment in jail for 24 hours. Twitter on my PC kicks me out every five minutes, and won't let me log in on my phone. Can't use .gov websites.

I use ExpressVPN. What gives?

I just found out one of my former teammates passed away. We had played on several teams together over many years. We weren't really friends and i haven't spoken to her in ~20 years, but I'm still sad to hear she died. We spent a lot of time together and went through a lot together (on the field, not off it).

I suspect she committed suicide based on her obituary (honestly, it fits how she lived when I knew her-- drugs, drinking, and unhappiness). I'm not sure though and hope to get more info from another teammate I'm still close with. I think I'm struggling to process it, tbh. It makes me sad, but i haven't cried. And i suspect that from this point on, I'll get more bad news than good as i get older.
