time for some positivity
i don't know if you guys are familiar with tim robbins but he's my favorite humorist of the moment. I'm about to watch the finale of his new series The Chair Company and it's been excellent.
His sketch show I Think You Should Live is far more hit than miss, and this sketch from it is one of my top 5 of all time. sadly it turns out the professor recently passed away
His movie Friendship is pretty good as well, and his show Detroiters is a love letter to the city I can highly recommend (the show not the city)
Gail King is shocked the lone hold out juror in the Clancy case is 30-something year old Black Man 😂
On 9/11, we were living in Ouray and got a call around 7AM, 9AM NY, that we needed to turn on the news. We didn't have a TV and CNN streaming came 7 yrs later. I dug my old tiny B/W TV out of storage dialed in a local, sat down and was glued to that screen for the rest of day.
My good friend Eric's experience was quite a bit different. He's a professional photographer living in lower Manhattan at the time. He heard the first plane hit, grabbed his bag and ran out the door. His story is here.

I've experienced 2 profound days in my life: the moon landing and 9/11. They each unveiled new reality for humanity. As those days drift into history with Kennedy, Hiroshima and Pearl Harbor, I hope that future days bring only positive energy and new life.
Milo emerged. For those who hadn't heard, Milo claims that the Immigration hearing notices were sent to a dead / old address ensuring he'd miss his hearings (he allegedly had other notices mailed to his current address so when he was detained, he was surprised to hear that he had missed any hearings / communications).
