time for some positivity
i don't know if you guys are familiar with tim robbins but he's my favorite humorist of the moment. I'm about to watch the finale of his new series The Chair Company and it's been excellent.
His sketch show I Think You Should Live is far more hit than miss, and this sketch from it is one of my top 5 of all time. sadly it turns out the professor recently passed away
His movie Friendship is pretty good as well, and his show Detroiters is a love letter to the city I can highly recommend (the show not the city)
I listen to the Adam Carolla Show every day, gotta love the Aceman. Last week when announcing his dates, he said he'd be at Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club in NJ. Shit, that's only half an hour from my house. When I looked it up, turns out he'd be playing at one of their satellite locations only 6 miles from his house! He did two shows, first a live podcast taping with Joe Devito and Joe Piscapo (who looked horrible, to be honest). Second show was stand-up with Rudy Pavich and Jim Florentine opening. Great evening, tons of laughs!
