time for some positivity
i don't know if you guys are familiar with tim robbins but he's my favorite humorist of the moment. I'm about to watch the finale of his new series The Chair Company and it's been excellent.
His sketch show I Think You Should Live is far more hit than miss, and this sketch from it is one of my top 5 of all time. sadly it turns out the professor recently passed away
His movie Friendship is pretty good as well, and his show Detroiters is a love letter to the city I can highly recommend (the show not the city)
I'm mentally deducting 20 from my assessed IQ of any person pointing out that now that Maduro is kidnapped, the Russians will be able to justify kidnapping Zelensky and the Iranians, Netanyahu.
Who cares what any of them can justify? International law is imaginary and the relationships between nations, arbitrary (not anarchic, as all the actual humans involved participate in the structure from beneath a nationalist hierarchy, you can call it anarchy if you want but no human experiences such anarchy, so have fun if you believe it's anarchic out there on the open ocean, or up in the sky above the nation-states, where no human dwells).
