When I wrestled in high school in Iowa in the 80's, Vision Quest was its own little cult hit following, being basically the only movie that did high school wrestling a treatment of any kind outside of Estevez in Breakfast Club. This song is probably best known as the theme, but I dunno I kinda just remember it along with Aldo Nova's Fantasy, Golden Earring's Twilight Zone (yeah I know they had Radar Love in the 70's) as belonging to specific subset of 80's one-hit wonders that I dig hearing from time to time.
