Dumb jokes that backfire: a lady was telling travel stories. She mentioned "going back to NY for her Dad's trial". I asked if he was aquitted, obviously joking that he was on trial in court. Turns out that she was talking about a cancer trial that failed and the cancer killed him. Ouch.

Sorry for posting so little for so long. Me and my wife have had a hell of a year and a half or so, but I just signed an offer for a job as an AI/ML/RL Engineer at a Space Logistics SaaS firm in Houston for literally twice what I started at my last job and I assure you I am into this work!
