A new piece of the nerdcore I've been peppering y'all with.
The story behind this one, if you're not up on the latest in AI slop, is Anthropic put out this AI agent called Moltbot (initially Clawdbot) that you can download and run on your computer. It's a digital assistant that you can tie into all different parts of your connected life and have it act like a butler for you. It can not only go searching through everything and giving you info, but it can take actions on your behalf. Think of that last part: take actions on your behalf. So if that's not scary enough, since you're connecting it to all your "digital assets" -email, calendar, banking, music, etc - that means someone who wants to steal/spy on your shit just needs to hit good ol' Moltbot, whose security is as useful as Joe Biden, and your shit is gone or corrupted. Nevermind the access you can be giving to Anthropic and whomever is behind them (or who hacks into them)
2026 is gonna be a fun year. Strap in, kids....
