Eliminating academic excellence is always a Marxist tell.

Under whatever utopia they’re selling, you’re not going to be able to be a painter or scholar or whatever that thing is your heart desires.

You’re going to waste your life away at whatever crap job they assign you, especially if you’re brilliant, because Communists are all just insecure narcissists who are threatened by everyone who’s better than them and will do whatever they can to crush your spirit.

Rich New Yorkers will be able to send their kids to private schools, if they aren’t already sending them there…but for high-IQ kids from modest backgrounds, their only hope is that their parents are willing to move out of the city.
