One of my new favorite things is researching the depths of Steven Seagal's many delusions, his incredible lack of character, and the false legend he built up around himself.
A few things re Steven's career you might not know:
1. The man he says he trained under in Japan died when he was 17, before he went to Japan...
2. ...ostensibly as a draft-dodger
3. where he married the daughter of the master/dojo owner and earned his black belt due to the judge falling asleep and being embarrassed into rubber-stamping him
4. He returned to the US on her dime leaving her with 2 kids, and married another woman (didn't divorce), then on his second wife's dime opened a dojo in Hollywood
5. 3 years later he married Kelly LeBrock, but not before he financed his production company in the early stages with a NYC crime family, in up to his neck to the point he started putting their underlings and associates in his movies
It goes on from there, nearly everything about Steven's legendary background is a lie, the ...
