Tagging @Malice since he likes science (and to brag!). My co-authors & I officially named a new genius & species of fossil whale yesterday (link below). We named the genus after my late advisor, who was an exceptional paleontologist and a good man. Despite now hating the universities, I am blessed that I worked on cool projects across the globe and am grateful to have had a tiny impact on paleontology. 🥰
