Leftists are permitted to openly support committing acts bioterrorism against hundreds of millions of people. In fact, they are congratulated for their efforts towards that pursuit.
My greatest fear about AI is already taking place, has been since about the time of the War on Poverty and the invention of the pill: The way of life I kinda like is traded, slowly, for a Peter-Pan attitude toward sex and procreation, the popularization of abortion and then euthanasia, complete religious and cultural lapse, art work sapped, mutilated and recycled in a downward spiral of cultural inheritance meant for no one, and in general, a hyper-productive society staring right down the barrel of everything Nietsche predicted and wrote about the 20th Century. My people are becoming culturally irrelevant and unwelcome in the towns they founded and named. The spirit of invention that I thought made this country great is looked at as something to be jealously torn down, and the pitchforks are out in force for one of the only things I think might be capable of averting economic disaster and the complete abdication of my country and my way of life.
