Party etiquette question, do people generally understand that RSVPing 'yes' means you're going to attend?
We had 35 people RSVP yes for my granddaughter's graduation party this evening. 20 didn't show up, didn't call, didn't text, nothing. We spent at least $400-500 in food, drinks, decorations, appetizers, etc. We're now planning a makeup dinner for tomorrow to get rid of all this food.
On the bright side, my granddaughter had a great time, all of her friends showed up, they hung out, and none of the 'adults' were embarrassing.
Thoughts from this gallery of misfits?
RIP Pickle. He deteriorated very quickly, which honestly is a Godsend after i dealt with the slow death of his brother a few years ago. We got Pickle shortly after we moved to Houston 16 years ago. He was a sweet boy who was very tolerant of my kids, especially my older daughter, who treated him like a baby doll during covid lockdowns. I miss you, buddy. Thanks for everything. 🙏🏼❤️
The funniest thing about Colbert's ouster to me is, all the people shilling for him can't go back in time and create posts liking his show.
Everything they've ever said about Colbert is political and in the context of hating Trump. You will not find any one of them with a post simply praising Colbert for this funny skit he did, I haven't even been able to find them commenting on guest appearances outside StuporCop Harris or Cory Booker.
Increasingly, they just go through the motions of the propaganda, no one listens, it's just a circle-jerk of self-congratulatory bots, some human some otherwise
