My 11 yo son and 10 yo nephew returned from a weeklong YMCA camp. They attended the same camp last year, my 16 yo son attended this camp several years ago, and my SIL was a counselor at this camp back in the day.

The boys informed us that there were two transgender counselors this year (not in their cabin). They instructed the kids on their pronouns. I did a quick search and it looks like the YMCA has scrubbed a lot of their transgender policies from the internet after a parent group drew attention to it, but that multiple camps allow campers and adults to use facilities based on their gender identity rather than biologic sex.

I can't believe this is happening. I can't believe I was so naive as to think this wasn't happening. I guess we'll send the boys to the Jesus camp down the road next year, which my daughter and nieces have attended. Not even sure if church camp is safe at this point.

I literally hate this craze. These people are unbearable. Why are parents teaching their children to covet anything anyway? How about teaching them to make bread instead? I can see no end. People were waiting 3 hrs hoping that they would magically show up.
