I listen to music when I work, usually something relaxing that can fade into the background, sometimes classical or jazz but also things like Gregorian or Tibetan chant. The latter can definitely lead to weird places with the YT algorithm (see exhibit A below from today). This is a step up from the Nordic pagan weird cinematic hip hop type stuff it was giving me a month ago (see exhibit B).
I am pretty new to TikTok because I need to start selling my art business. I cannot figure out how to change the Algorithm so that I’m not continuously seeing makeup tutorials done by men. Why the hell am I seeing a bunch of men putting on makeup? I don’t wanna see anyone putting on makeup. But I really don’t wanna see a grown ass man with a fetish spending three hours putting on makeup.
