I baked my first sourdough in several years (and probably loaf #5 in total). A good friend from work gave me some of his starter. I'm hoping he and I can stay in touch -- at least via baking -- despite my imminent maternity leave. The bread turned out much better than I thought it would (beginner's luck, I reckon), and I'm excited to keep learning more about sourdough!

Wow what a weird, funny and kind of dark book. I really enjoyed it but I had never heard of it before. I keep asking friends and family, boomers & GenX, but no one has heard of it either. Thanks for the recommendation @Malice
