for 2 hours I've been trying to apply for my government pension on line. it's impossible. I fill out the forms. there's always something wrong. I redo things a million times. sometimes it's right but something else is wrong. I think I fix that. then 3 things are wrong. 😑 I'm going to print out an application and just do it that way. I'm losing my mind over here!
MSR whisperlite was the gold standard in backpacking stoves. In some ways it still is. I have an old one and it has two different jet ports for using different fuels. Kerosene and regular automotive gas for one, white gas for the other. The new versions have a third port that allows you to run the modern isobutane cans.
I see this versatility as an extremely helpful feature for prepping scenarios or third world living. The whisperlite is heavy and bulky compared to current market leaders, but they lack the fuel versatility. A person who combines the best of both worlds would have a unique product.
