Last full day in Buenos Aires. Then back to my part time job. My husband also managed to get a part time job a few weeks ago. He was laid off in October after 25 yrs working for Thyssen Krupp.
I need to find a second job because Target simply isn’t giving payroll hours. We are both educated with over 30 yrs experience but no one wants to hire people our age (or more accurately, pay us for our talents). Right now we have to do everything we can to not lose our home, living off his retirement until one of us gets a ‘real’ job again.
I say all this because I am currently sitting in front of this Tiffany backgammon board game. (Go ahead and google the price tag). Our family friend is a successful divorce lawyer. She bought this to reward herself. She loves Tiffany. We were blessed to stay here because of her. But she also is terribly miserable living here alone because her children can’t stand living with her.
We live in totally different worlds.
