I made a Linux distribution called WASD. It's aimed at gamers, especially someone on Windows who just wants to play.
It's based on Bazzite which is based on Fedora which is based on Redhat if you like pointless trivia. What's important is this particular flavor of linux is good for something you just want to work because it saves the last known good boot image in case something bad happens, it doesn't leave the user trying to google something on a different device and fix it in a terminal.
I built a few apps for it to do the install, let the user set the desktop and login screens, install additional apps like Discord and OBS, and other game launchers; Battle.net, Ubisoft Connect, the Rockstar Launcher, and Minecraft all at least get to the login stage.
I could some help if anyone wanted to pitch in testing this. Even just looking at the website and letting me know if there's a grammatical error (Grok wrote most of it), or if something just doesn't make sense would help.
What I really need is to make sure the additional launchers actually work and launch games, and just find bugs.
The site is https://wasd.run/
It can run from a USB in a live session, so installing it to a hard drive is not needed. When it boots, the Install window can simply be closed.
