Bit of a tirade on “conspiracies”, particularly Jeffie’s. Skip if not interested.

With the latest debacle on Epstein and Team Trump looking like monkeys fucking footballs, there seems to be an increase in people (maybe Dear Writer included, from a Twitter post or two) who are having trouble rationalizing the scope of a conspiracy of this magnitude with the real issue of keeping secrets – the more people who know about it, the better the chance of it not staying a secret. Add to this the issue that someone with nothing to lose will blab and it’s seeming to cause a glitch: How can a supposed operation of this size have stayed “secret” and information not leaked.

My 2 cents:

First, it has leaked. Let’s face it, more info has gotten out there about what went on than what happened during the entirety of the MK ULTRA project and that was across decades. And bear in mind, the majority of the MK ULTRA info was shredded/burned long ago and that which was exposed during the Church commission was a pittance of what had occurred. Do people who have rational thought actually think all that bullshit was stopped?? The issue with Epstein is, as is always the case, enough doubt was injected into the story that people are unsure of what’s real and what’s not. Once doubt is introduced, the desire to act on any information is tamped down because no one wants to make the wrong more, especially with something as sensitive as this.

Second plays off the first point in that the US government is not benevolent and hasn’t been since the start. Remember, Washington ordered US troops to be sent to put down Shay’s rebellion because “there must be order for liberty to exist, in his mind, so it was okay to rebel against that tyrant over there, but here… we’re not tyrants. This goes on with the wars and massacres against the Indian tribes, the Civil War and the burning and destruction of The South, the slaughters in The Philippines and Haiti by US troops, nevemind the depravity of some soldiers during other wars, the fire bombings of Tokyo and Dresden, endless regime changes, leveling villages in North Korea and Vietnam, massacring civilians to get one terrorist, and that’s just “war” stuff. The utter disregard for human life within the US has hundreds of examples within MK ULTRA alone.

The third thought ties those together - It sounds too nefarious to all be true, but the reality is pederasty has been “a thing” for millennia as well as the buying/selling of humans, so the combination of those iniquities pushes the whole idea into near absurdity because it forces you to acknowledge true evil and most people don’t want to think into that level of darkness. Take Pearl Harbor: The idea that people within the US government knew Japan was going to attack the base and let it happen forces a revulsion in most folks. Dr. Menace has repeatedly said “They want you dead but will settle for your submission”, which is a great line, but to accept that this statement is truthful is a step too far for most. I’d even say the reality of it might be too far for Michael. It’s one thing for a foreign dictatorship or authoritarian hellscape to hold this belief, but for people in the US government? Maybe a psycho or two, but more? How can US intelligence get away with threatening folks like Bongino? That’s a lot to accept even when knowing the past of governments like the USSR, East Germany, or even now with North Korea. The truth is most people in government are functionaries who are just doing their job and don't care about other people at all. I remember a video out of Australia during the whole Coof bullshit and some thug with a badge yelled at a reporter who questioned their attacking protesters “I don’t like doing it but it’s my job! I have to do it to take care of my family!” The concept of walking away from evil even if it negatively affects you doesn’t click with many people.

This is partly why I hold that idea that many people don’t have a soul. That lack of a soul doesn’t make them inherently bad, but because they don’t have that guilt-trigger a soul provides, they will justify simple police harassment, for example, and say “It’s a tough job. Just listen to them and don’t be an asshole to the cops.” Or “You don’t need $100k a year. It’s only fair that a large portion of it is taken and given to others who don’t have anything.” Or “Taking this shot will save the lives of others. Why are you being so selfish?!”
