Day Two began with a rainy 240 mile drive from Talkeetna to Seward. South of Los Anchorage the drive along the Turnagain Arm through the Chuguch National Forest was pretty spectacular. Glaciers galore to our east and south which feed beautiful Kenai Lake. The glacial melt turns the water a milky yet translucent emerald/sky blue. It almost glows. We stopped at Exit Glacier National Park. There were many tourists there in their sneakers and unarmed (grizzlies, moose, wolves). A guide service did a brisk business though half of the trail was paved. Regardless we found our bubble and it was a cool hike. After we drove to Seward which is a neat little tourist town. Seward is one of the largest cruise ship destinations in Alaska. The town of 3,500 is buried in a deep fjord and is heavily forested, mountainous and wet. The night we stayed there we burned through two airbnb's because of mold (refunds from both which was good) and stayed in the Gateway Hotel (mold free and clean). We had a good ...

Mondays amirite? Missed Caturday due to working 30 hours in 2 days 😥 But during all the madness at the ER, we brought into the world 4 bebé kittens via c-section. Momma is doing amazing. Also got to spend Oma time with this lil’ Harry Potter lookin’ cutie ❤️ And a few funnies to brighten our world #whitepill
