Everything is falling apart but I bought brand new ski boots for $130+tax. So everything is great. Snow is starting to fall on the high country. I've been watching a lot of long term weather predictions and we're either going to have a heavy snow year or it's going to be dry. 🙄
Three of you will no doubt vaguely recall me posting something about my dad's cochlear implant. I was all impressed about 15 years ago or so when he got a hearing aid that had bluetooth, well now they're scanning his brain at the new research facility at University of Iowa as a follow-up to his implant procedure. According to Mom (a retired RN), the machines doing the scans ran out of memory, so manufacturers and engineers had to be called. But they got through it. It's important research. Or Dad's a guinea pig. Or both.
