My new wife changed her last name to mine no problem (and without promoting or any real discussion).

Fellas, if your wife hyphenates her last name, she doesn't really love you and she's still keeping her surname in there as a placeholder. And sure, she'll probably use the professional name excuse to deflect ("b-but everybody knows me as...." ), but don't let that woman fool ya cuz she knows she can easily chop off that hyphen and last name like a semi dropping a load when dumping it.

Now if a woman's roaming around divorced with a hyphenated name, steer the fuck away. That bitch has some unfinished business.
