Well while on a trip a few months back the car broke down because apparently the clutch had completely died.
This was because the incompetent local mechanic that switched the gearbox I had to replace last year, after that broke down, didn't check the clutch and how it was looking as he was changing in the new gearbox at the time. He even told me to ignore the slight off sound coming from the car, saying it was no big deal...
Well after the car was stranded very far from home, it took about a month to be ready to pick up again. It cost me 3k in repairs at a brand dealership, and another 1k in parts I sourced myself, as if I let them source it it would have been another 2k on top of that.
Then since I wasn't In The mood to pick up the car all the ways up there, I got in touch with the logistics company that delivers new cars for the company, and had them pick up the car as they were dropping off new ones, taking it back with them on the return trip and then delivering it much more locally. That was another $400 but that's almost cheaper than taking the entire trip myself anyway.
Okay that was all, you may continue your day now🧐
#MusicFriday Yes I haven't listened to the radio in probably 15 years so I had never heard this pop song until last week. But it sounds like Dead or Alive had a baby with KC & the Sunshine Band. Back me up on this one, @holla2040
@Malice, have you ever been anywhere super rural for an extended time?
I wonder what the experience is like for a city dweller to be out in God's country.
I live 7 miles from town and there's no option for public transportation or Uber. I live in the most populated area in a two hour radius and my county has 17k residents. We have an airport that only has 3 commercial flights a day and they all go to Denver. You know you're a local when you know someone on your flight more often than not.
