Y'all! We saw the Monarch butterfly migration!!! It was truly amazing!!! We saw probably thousands of monarchs flying over us & around us on their way south. It went on for hours & was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm sure it happens every year, but we hadn't ever seen it before. And it went right over our ranch! We saw some monarchs in the nearest town on our way home, but not nearly as many as we saw on our property.

My family volunteered at a kids’ carnival on Friday with our church. I turned the frunk on my husband’s MR2 into a mouth for the “trunk or treat”, so he insisted on calling it a “frunk or fright”. Scout, our doggie, had a lovely time meeting kids and our daughter, Saffron adorned herself and ran a carnival game. Apparently the school could not make it happen last year because enough parents did not participate. After seeing how many of them had neck tattoos, we wondered if they could not pass the background check.
